Danish ECOmove rewarded at the ARPRO Adventure

ARPRO Award winner

The ARPRO Award 2011 in the Environmental Performance category went to ECOmove in October 2011. The award is given for outstanding performance.

As an affiliate to ARPRO, ECOmove was invited to participate in the annual conference, ARPRO Adventures, held this year in Geneva. But there was more in store for ECOmove. The company from Horsens in Denmark was also nominated for an award voted for by ARPRO customers and potential future customers.

The ARPRO awards are made every year for outstanding performance in four categories. This year, ECOmove won the award for ‘Environmental Performance’.

“The ARPRO Award recognizes innovation and environmental benefits across multiple markets”, explains Poul Compton, President and Chief Executive Officer from JSP. JSP is the world leader in production and development of the ARPRO-material, and the ECOmove electric car QBEAK is made mostly of this material.

Voted for by the industry-sector

Mogens Løkke, CEO at ECOmove, was grateful for the award.

“This honor means a great deal to us, especially because it was the whole industry that pointed at us. It shows that the industry sector understands our concept. It also recognizes the advantages from using the ARPRO-material, such as energy savings (from weight reduction) and environmental impact management”, says Mogens Løkke.

As winners of the 2011-award, ECOmove is invited to attend the Economist Innovation Award 2011 taking place in London later in October this year. The Economist Innovation Award for Energy and Environment is sponsored by ARPRO.
